Welcome to our website. My name is Pat Burden and it is my joy to serve as Pastor here at Mid-Hudson Christian Church. I came here in 1998 along with my wife, Angie, and our daughter, Esther, from Toronto, Canada. Since being here one of my older sons, Brett, joined us, as well as our youngest addition, Nathan. It's not easy to assume a church after the founding Pastor of 20 years or so. But our predecessors, Don & Lois Richter, made it a very easy transition. The church family here at Mid-Hudson also received us with open arms and hearts and that has simply made everything so easy.
So about our church. I can only say like any family it's our goal to "Love one another". I believe in these days in which we find ourselves, that cynicism, mistrust, and mean spirited dialogue continues to abound, people are looking for a better atmosphere. We at Mid-Hudson believe that God's Kingdom is that place. Where His love and grace abound, where friends can live in a shared love for one another in mutual respect. If you are looking for the "predictable" in your spiritual life our church probably isn't for you. As you see, we believe Jesus is alive in our midst and as with any vital dynamic relationship growth and change is a continuing factor in keeping relationships healthy and dynamic. We welcome your visit and it's our prayer that in coming to Mid-Hudson you would experience the One we love.

The Mid-Hudson Christian Church, Wallkill, New York is located in a rural area approximately 70 miles north of NYC. We are a multi-cultural congregation who seeks to encounter Jesus in every area of our lives. Our purpose is to joyously pursue God's presence through passionate worship, prayer and love for one another and to bring to the world the message of the Gospel. Our desire is to exalt God the Father and to know Him and to make Him known as revealed in His Son Jesus Christ. We invite you to encounter Jesus.
